Ekitis Are Proud Of Prof Adelabu's Choice -Ojudu
Senator Babafemi Ojudu has expressed joy at the choice of a new Deputy Governor for Ekiti State, Professor Dupe Adelabu, saying that the combination of her exposure, skills and expertise with that of Governor Kayode Fayemi cannot but produce a synergy that would set the state on the path of greater glory and respect in the eyes of the world.
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, Ojudu said Professor Adelabu had the right credentials and level-headedness to succeed at the new job as she had succeeded in previous assignments given her.
Describing her as an accomplished academic and an expert on a wide range of issues, Ojudu said he had no doubt that she would be a remarkable plus to the Fayemi administration, adding that her humility and level-headedness have always been an addition to her loyalty, not just to her leaders, but to everyone she has
A princess of Ado-Ekiti whose mother was also a princess of Ise-Ekiti and her late husband a former Chief Librarian of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a prince of Ijero-Ekiti, Ojudu said Professor Dupe Adelabu is Ekiti-personified.
The lawmaker representing Ekiti central congratulated the Ekiti State Government and Governor Kayode Fayemi on the choice of Adelabu, adding that the administration has made all Ekiti indigenes, home and abroad, proud with the choice.
