NNPP GUBER CANDIDATE IN ANAMBRA STATE RELEASED BY ABDUCTORS

KIDNAPPED ANAMBRA NNPP GUBER CANDIDATE RELEASED

The Governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Anambra State Chief Leonard Uchendu who was kidnapped late last week has been released by his abductors.

Chief Uchendu was released on Monday night after spending four days in the hands of his abductors.  The NNPP had early this week raised public concern over the disappearance of its governorship candidate late last week, while his mobile phones remained switched off, making him incommunicado.

It would be recalled that the NNPP had late last week raised concern over attempts by some politicians in Anambra State to intimidate and harass Chief Uchendu to abandon his quest to become the next governor of the state, using the instrumentalities of the state apparatus.
