KIA Donate confiscated item to orphanages. Ayodele Samuel Lagos Lagos state environmental law enforcement agency Kick Against Indiscipline KAI has donated impounded food items confiscated from Illegal Street trading to two catholic charitable homes in Lagos . His was reveal in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP, the KAI Marshal General Rtd. Capatain Danjuma Maigeri said the donations were made inline with the philanthropic gesture of Lagos State Government with directive from the state commissioner for Health Dr.Muiz Banire that that confiscated perishable items should be sent to orphanages. Donating the items on behalf of the state government KAI spoke man MR Tunde Olusesi commended the management and staff of the homes for their humanitarian and welfare service to the less privileged in the society especially the motherless and destitute. He added that it is the wish of the to embark on such humanitarian gesture to attract God s blessings “it is our believe that these item will help in alleviating part of the nutritional problems of the inmates of your homes” he added. Receiving the items on behalf of the Ozanam Rehabilitation Home the Matron, sister Theresa expressed her gratitude to the state government for the great gestures towards the less privileged in the society. Also speaking Matron of Sister Theresa motherless home Ketu thanked the law enforcement agency KAI and prays for protection for them.
