Pastor Wole Oladiyun is the Senior Pastor and set man of Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) located in Lagos, a seasoned Evangelist with a strong Apostolic and Prophetic Ministry.
The cleric, who exude an uncommon passion for Nigeria, engages himself in prayers and soul winning activities through village and city-wide crusades under the umbrella of CLAM GLOBAL OUTREACH (CLAMGO) of which he is President.
Lamenting the state of the nation during his sermon recently, Baba Aladura as he's fondly called by his fast growing members said it was wrong for pastors to pray for "unworthy" politicians.
Oladiyun said that politicians, who had oppressed the citizens of the country knowingly or through negligence, should not be prayed for, saying any pastor that prayed for them had committed a sin.
"Why should somebody, who has pocketed millions of Naira meant to improve the standard of living of the populace be prayed for? After coveting money meant for roads, people ride on those roads and lose their lives. They are dead because of these politicians who later come for prayers. This is a sin," he said.
Continuing, he added: "Pastors know that this is wrong and yet some would go ahead to pray for them. Whether they are governors or the President, they are all guilty and many have died because of them. These kinds are an abomination, and should therefore not be prayed for.
"I refuse to be a part of this category, am passionate about Nigeria, this is my country, I believe in Nigeria if President Jonathan should come here I would only ask God to give him wisdom, because he's surrounded by occultic people giving him wrong advice, using occultist
powers to manipulate him. Even if he has good intension to lead right the people around him will manipulate him".
He however, warned President Jonathan to beware of political sycophants who are wasting the resources of the country in his cabinet.
He said his only prayer for President Jonathan is the Lord will give him boldness to take right decisions.
Oladiyun further lamented that "Nigerians are being wasted because of the failure and inactivity of government to do the right things at the right time, instead of promulgating policies that will uplift Nigerians, our government is busy incapacitating them. The nation seems to be moving towards no where.
This was even as he predicted that Nigeria will soon witness a mind-blowing revolution that will permeate all segments of the society.
His words: "I see a revolution coming soon but not arms -carrying revolution, but family value revolution whereby people will train their wards to have the fear of God.
I see a mindset revolution, whereby people will want to do what is right for the nation.
"I see a governance revolution whereby people want to go to government to do what is right.
"I see an industrial revolution in the country whereby there are industries in every state and local government in this nation.
I see an integrity revolution, morality revolution and spiritual and revival revolution in this nation.
I see a positive turn-around for the nation because we cannot continue like this as a nation".
In 2010, Apostle Oladiyun in a proposal on how to build a new Nigeria titled "How to move Nigeria Forward after 50 years" advocated for N75,000 ($500) as minimum salary a police corporal should earn. The 75,000 he said will go a long way in motivating and improving the Nigeria police force.
He describes the state of the present police force as very discouraging.
He said in the new Nigeria, resident must know the nearest police station in their environment, the name and number of their Divisional Police Officers and the local government chairman number to report issues and distress to them.
Oladiyun said if citizen begin to disturb those in authority to do what his right, things will begin to change and in no time, Nigeria as a nation will take a new turn.
He however, urged affluent citizens to participate in the growth of the country by contributing to every sector saying government alone can't rebuild Nigeria.
